Another Day Hard Day

Another day hard day always starts the same,
No matter what the weather sunshine,snow or rain.
You shout me once,shout me twice,always shout my name,
Leave me alone I reply from under my covers again.

Finally you manage to get me off to school,
You hope that when I get there,my mood will soon improve.
But once I get into the yard I start to act the fool,
Running fast and kicking out,I begin to lose my cool.

Once inside the classroom sitting at their desks,
All the children listen and learn,but I cant seem to rest.
Im up and down and shouting out,being quite a pest,
Poor old Mrs Grady I put her patience to the test.

Does anybody understand?Does anybody know?,
How hard it is to be like me,always on the go.
Always getting in trouble,always getting the blame,
Come and walk in my shoes ,come and feel my pain.

Its 3 o clock hiphip hooray,Im waiting for the bell,
When Mum asks me, how Ive been.How much do I tell?
Back at home I think that we both could use a break,
So off I go out to play,my ball with me I take.

Later on its 8 o clock Mum says thats it for tonight,
Off we go up to bed,come on lets not fight.
Then she hugs me and she says Lets take it one day at a time,
She whispers that she understands,and puts her hand in mine.
