Your behaviour and violence are breaking my heart
I know that you're special, with your ADHD
I know that I love you and that you love me

I just want to hug you and hold your hand tight
I know you won't let me cos it don't feel right
I try just to help you, and understand too
And know sometimes I fail cos I ain't got a clue

I don't know what its like in your young head
I don't know what its like to wish myself dead
I know only I love you and love you so much
I can only look and must never touch!

I know others just see you but don't really look
You're like a bright cover in a very long book
Hard to see through and so misunderstood
If only they'd look, Oh if only they would

They'd see for themselves my sweet little boy
Who has his own feelings and ain't just a toy
He's someone so special I cannot describe
He's got feeling inside which he tries to hide

So Jowan, my love, my sweet little man
Forget all those people if only you can
And just be yourself, naughty or bad

We'll sort this together like only we can
People will see us and won't dare take us on
Cos they know we're right and they are so wrong
