adders.org Book Review
Women With Attention Deficit Disorder by Sari Solden
From the woman's perspective this book is wonderful as it looks at various issues which affect women in particular and the associated problems.
The author writes with empathy and encouragement to empower women to find ways to use their ADD for success and to help change their lives.
With strategies and help techniques the author looks at a woman's own self image, from those who feel they are spaced out to those who have such low self esteem they consider themselves as slobs and failures, and gives encouragement through exercises, self talk and other peoples own stories. This enables the woman with ADD to throw off the feelings of inadequacy and failure and work towards their own successes and on their own terms.
Great for all the female ADDers out there.
