adders.org Book Review
Helping your ADD Child by John Taylor
A great book for all the basics for those just learning about ADD.
From assessment of diagnosis, drug treatments to nutritional and psychological therapies.
Lots of useful tips to help your child both at home and school with ideas as to how to talk to children in ways they can understand - sometimes we asked children to do something and then get annoyed when they don't do it - this book explains how this is not always down to the child wanting to upset us but it is just that they don't follow our way of speaking. Sometimes we need to change our way of speaking and this book is great ideas as to how to do this.
Ideal for home and school. Full of easy to read understandable advice and hints.
