Reading Pen
by Scanning Pens Ltd
This is a great device as you simply scan the pen across the line of text and it reads the words to you so this makes reading easy for any child or adult even if they have found it really difficult in the past.
It has a small window on the side where you can see the words appearing on the pen itself which displays dictionary and Thesaurus entries. It also displays syllable break. Words highlighted on the LCD as they are spoken for which makes it really easy to follow.
It also reads out and spells aloud scanned words, lines of text, definitions and Thesaurus entries with ScanSoft® Text-to-Speech software through the integrated speaker or headphones if you don't want to disturb other people. This is really helpful in my view:-)
It has a huge dictionary which recognises around 240,000 words
Another really good thing is that it can be set up for either right or left handed use
