He is a father of an ADD child so he talks and draws very much on his own experiences, making all of his writings believable and at times humorous.

Dr Phelan offers advice and strategies for enabling parents to help and encourage this. He explains 5 essential strategies for promotion of self-esteem along with the fact that it is hard work on both sides. This step by step guide can really help to encourage the growth of self-esteem in an otherwise difficult relationship between parent and ADD child.

All of the books by Dr Phelan are easy to read in parts humorous, excellent choice for the whole spectrum of raising a child with ADD.
