Thom writes positively on the subject of attention deficit disorder, how this can be transformed from a disability into an ability.

Thom's theory of hunters and farmers gives a real understanding into the behaviour of the ADD sufferer.

The book starts with background on ADD and how it affects behaviour patterns going on to explain how the sufferers can gain from the condition and learn to channel the behaviours into an acceptable pattern.

Thom then writes about personal experiences and the successes of those who have learnt to cope with the disorder.

Thom's approach to therapeutic and natural therapies to the disorder is inspiring and makes you realise that there are a variety of treatments available and an open mind is essential.
